• The First Biennial Conference of the Asian Philosophy of Science Association (APSA26)

  • The Asian Philosophy of Science Association (APSA) invites scholars, students, and friends of philosophy of science to its Inaugural Biennial Conference, APSA26, to be held at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore from 22-24 July 2026. Anchored in APSA’s mission to advance research and teaching across Asia, the meeting is designed to spark dialogue and collaboration within the region and to connect Asian perspectives with the global community. Across three days, the conference will highlight work spanning the breadth of philosophy of science. In keeping with APSA’s goals, the program places special emphasis on bringing together scholars based in Asia and supporting the next generation of researchers.

    Craig Callender

    Craig Callender is the Tata Chancellor Professor of Philosophy and a Founding Faculty and Co-Director of the Institute for Practical Ethics. He is also the current President of the Philosophy of Science Association and from 2019-2022 sat on the Freedom and Responsibility in Science Committee of the International Science Council.

    Catarina Dutilh Novaes

    Catarina Dutilh Novaes is Professor of Philosophy and University Research Chair at the Department of Philosophy of VU Amsterdam, member of the Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences (KNAW), and president of the European Philosophy of Science Association (EPSA) (2025-2029).
